Improved date nights.

Well, on Monday I went down to get my motorcycle lisence and failed. Well, I didn’t fail the test. I didn’t even get to take the test. I didn’t have a valid registration. I called Honda, because I don’t remember even getting one. In any case, I went to DMV to see about getting a copy. I wasn’t hopeful because Honda said they would help me get one, but it might take a bit because the bike was financed. With that in mind, I stood in line at DMV for 30 min to find out if I could get a copy through them. With the glance of my ID and the show of my lisence plate number, the lady strolled away and returned with a print out of my registration. “Have a nice day”, she muttered. “That’s it?” I say. “Yup, Have a nice day.” she answered. And with that I left.

The following day, I took my paperwork, pleased at how easy it was for once, and headed to the test site. After watching the other two eager cyclists pass their test, I geared up and placed my motorcycle on the starting position line. The examiner instructed me to do this and that and go and stop and all that good stuff. 5 minutes later he handed me a piece of paper and told be to bring it to the office with my permit and lisence and they will issue me a new lisence for a class 2 and 3 vehicle. So I did. And now I have my lisence.

So that night, after Gavin went down to sleep, Holly and I heared up and drove around the block before heading to Longs Drugs, just to look around, before riding over to Starbucks (we probably could have walked) to try one of their seasonal drinks. We sat and talked and had a nice time out. Then we drove back to the theatre where we played a couple games of pool. We probably would have stayed longer to play pool, but a few theatre thugs were hanging out and listening to some stupid rap music and playing cards (what else is there to do after the theatre closes, right?). Besides, Holly told her mom that she could call the cops in fear of our crashing and dying after 10PM.

Date nights are going to be so much fun.

What do you think?

Today is my long day at the theatre. I clocked in at 10am and won’t be clocking out until around 10pm or so. With all this time, I have dope a bit of thinking and christmas shopping (go amazon.com). As it turns out I couldn’t justify buying the gift for Holly that I really wanted to get her, but that is just how the cookie crumbles. Instead, I got her the next best thing. Which I think she will be just as happy with. And I got a good deal on it too. But don’t tell her that. He he. JK. I am very excited about it, as will she be. But the question is, do I give it to her for her birthday or Christmas? Hmmm. I can’t decide. I don’t know if I can wait until Christmas to give it to her. What do you think?

Does a magnet stick to a liquor bottle?

It is a good day. I woke up and met the day. I hopped in the shower knowing that when I got out, Holly, Mary, and Gaving would be gone, off to do some shopping around town. I ate a nice little bowl of cereal and followed that with a nice cushy chair and a computer screen to get some work done. I put in a good two hours or so. The family was not home yet. I called my fellow band member and made plans to go play. By noon, the family still was not home. I left for Gabe’s house and put in a good 2 1/2 hours of playing. It was so nice to play with him again. We ate some chicken and drank some beer. Ahh, good times. When I arrived home at 3 ‘ clock, Chris and Beth were there. Holly was being crafty and cutting out little scraps of pretty designs, textures and shiny things to create some nice Christmas cards. Gavin and Chris were playing cars and choo choo and fire truck, and Mary and Beth were on the couch drinking a glass of wine. The atmosphere was quite cheery. The holidays are here. Holy offered me a nice cup of hot chocolate flavored with a touch of gingerbread creamer. Oh so good. That hour flew by and before I knew it, I was late for work. Oh well.

Ever since Wednesday night, I have not been able to think straight for too long. My mind has been filled with images and hints of things to come. I probably should have my magnet on the top of the fridge somewhere near the cereal. Maybe in the liquor cabinet. At any rate, the anticipation levels are rediculously high.

Someone’s in for a treat!

I must say, it’s been a good past couple of days. Everything seems to be right on track. Last night was dance night and Mary decided that she would stay home with Gavin and sort of give Holly and I a date night. Holly and I headed off for dancing in a frisky mood. We stopped at the mall on the way out to pick up some Christmas gifts that Holly wanted for her mom. Then we stopped at Hot Topic and Macy’s. Checked stuff out. It was really nice. All the while we were flirting and being silly and all that good stuff. I enjoyed it. We also picked up a small slice of fudge. Mmmmm. Then we decided that we dilly dallied long enough and headed back out to dancing. I must say that it was a little hard to concentrate on dancing. Holly commented quite a few times on how good I looked in my jeans and form-fitting “You’ll Love my Weiner” shirt. And I couldn’t help but to notice her nice leggs and sexy hair as she danced around the set. Over all, a good night out. Then when we got home, it was a good night in. After all, Holly did have to try on her new outfit to make sure it fit for Christmas.

OMFG! Someone’s in for a treat!

HOT! HOT! Sizzle! Sizzle!

I awoke this morning to a beautiful thing this morning. Naturally it was Holly with the morning light on her skin as she shuffled through laundry to find a pair of clean jeans. Gavin came rushing in and asked me if I was going with them to get a hair cut. Of course I would. So I hopped out of bed and threw on some clothes. We headed out the door as a happy little family up to the shopping center to get haircuts for Gavin and Holly. After purchasing a cinnamon roll and a portuguese sausage and egg bento, we headed to the Supercuts where Holly plopped up in a chair. Gavin and I went out to the sidewalk and knarfed our breakfast. Gavin was very excited to be getting a hair cut. He kept peeking in the window and saying, “Mom get haircut. Me too.” So we wrapped up eating and headed in just in time for Holly to get up out of the chair and whip her hair around just like in the movies. She was sooooooo HOT! Then Gavin stepped into the chair. He was so good. He looked where he was supposed to and smiled and turned on the buzzer and giggled muttering, “It tickles!”. So cute. It was very nice. So here are some pictures of their awesome haircuts. Doesn’t Holly look HOT!?
